NO SPOILERSDog Man is a funny, full-color comic book that two kids named George and Harold made themselves, complete with silly spelling and hand-drawn art. It tells the story of a police officer and his police dog, badly hurt by a bomb set by an evil cat named Petey. When doctors realize neither one can be saved on his own, they sew the dog's head onto the officer's body, and Dog Man, the world's greatest cop, is born. He cannot talk, only bark, and he acts exactly like a dog, licking faces, chewing things, and jumping on his boss, the Chief, who is constantly yelling at him. Even though he causes plenty of trouble, Dog Man keeps finding wild, unexpected ways to stop Petey's evil plans and save the city.
