How it works

Battle of the Books is two question formats. We drill both. Two study modes. Five mastery levels. One account that follows your reader across devices.

Two question types

In What Book

A scenario, quote, or plot detail is presented. The reader picks which book it comes from.

Example

In what book do magpies outside a window sound just like R2-D2?

→ Bob by Stead

Book Trivia

A specific book is named in the question. The reader recalls a detail like a character, plot point, or fact.

Example

In Holes, what was the nickname of the boy who had Stanley's cot before him?

Barf Bag
