ABOUT THE BOOK
NO SPOILERSSeventeen-year-old Kiki Siregar is a confident gamer in Jakarta whose parents have moved her from her easygoing old school to Xingfa, a strict elite school, for her final year. Online, she plays the shooter Warfront Heroes as Dudebro10, pretending to be a guy to escape the harassment she got once other players figured out she was a girl, and her best friend there is Sourdawg, a sourdough-obsessed boy she has never met. On her first day she clashes with Jonas Arifin, the rich class monitor, over his sexist design for their group's video game, and he starts calling her crazy. After school Sourdawg types that he goes to Xingfa too, so one of her new schoolmates is her secret online best friend, and he thinks she is a dude. The next morning she joins Lil' Aunties Know Best, a secret matchmaking service run by two thirteen-year-olds, hoping it will help her quietly figure out who Sourdawg is, and that same day a viral clip of Kiki losing her temper has the school calling her "Crazy Kiki."
