Her week takes a sharp turn on Monday when her classmate Margaret gets glue stuck in her hair during an art project. Clementine tries to help fix it, one cut leads to another, and soon Margaret has no hair left at all. What follows is a week of escalating mishaps, repeated trips to the principal's office, a fight with Margaret, and a growing worry that her parents might be planning something terrible to get rid of their hard-to-handle daughter.
