Evan thinks having his little sister in his grade will make him a laughingstock, so he shuts Jessie out and refuses to let her join his lemonade stand. Jessie, who genuinely wanted to be with her brother and doesn't understand why he's so cold, fires back by setting up her own stand with a fourth-grade girl named Megan. What starts as hurt feelings quickly turns into a full-on competition, with both siblings racing to see who can earn one hundred dollars from selling lemonade before school starts on Labor Day.
