NO SPOILERSA Snake Falls to Earth follows two young people whose lives are connected across two worlds. Nina, a Lipan teenager in near-future Texas, grew up hearing her grandmother's stories about animal people and the spirit world beyond a bottomless lake on their land. Cottonmouth, known as Oli, is a snake person from the Reflecting World who is searching for his best friend Ami, a rare toad whose species is nearly extinct. As a hurricane bears down on the Gulf Coast, both Nina and Oli must trust the stories they have been told, rely on unlikely friends, and protect the people they love from a danger that crosses the boundary between worlds.
