ABOUT THE BOOK
NO SPOILERSWhite Fang is a wolf-dog born in the frozen wilderness of Canada's Yukon Territory in the late 1800s. His mother, a she-wolf named Kiche, is part dog, and his father, One Eye, is a grey wolf. From his first days in a cave on a remote stream, the cub must navigate a world governed by hunger, cold, and the law that life feeds on life. When Kiche leads him to an Indian camp and her former owner, Grey Beaver, claims both of them, the cub receives a name and enters a new world where powerful, fire-making gods rule over animals and dogs alike, and where his wild nature will be shaped and tested in ways he cannot yet imagine.
