From the moment the Loskis moved in, Juli was completely smitten with Bryce's blue eyes and easy smile, while Bryce spent years doing everything he could to avoid her. Told in alternating chapters where each of them recounts the same events from their own perspective, the story follows their slow-burning tangle of feelings through junior high as a sycamore tree Juli loves gets cut down, a scandal over eggs forces some painful honesty, and both of them start to question what they actually know about each other and about their own families.
